Michael Gianelli is managing attorney at Gianelli | Friedman | Jeffries whose practice areas include estate planning, trusts, complex litigation, business and commercial law and mediation. Mike has been a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law with the California Board of Legal Specialization for over 25 years and has had workshop training in mediation and served as a neutral on several successful mediations.
Mike attended the University of California, Irvine where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1973 and later attended the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law where he attained his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1976.
Mike is currently a director and past chair of the Stanislaus Community Foundation Board, and a past chair of that board.
Mike is a past board member of Community Hospice; served for almost 10 years on the Board for the Great Valley Academy Charter School; a past Member of the of the Legacy Committee of Sierra Vista ; past board chair and president of the Great Valley Museum; past president and Director of the Modesto Junior College Foundation; past member of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; past Modesto Rotarian; past member of the Memorial Foundation Board of Directors and past member of the Muir Trail Girl Scout Association. Mike was also a member of the oversight committee for Measure E funds at Modesto Junior College and a 17 year instructor of Business Law and Community Education classes at Modesto Junior College.
Mike also coached MYSA soccer for more than 25 years.
Mike has written two legal thriller novels, which he hopes to get published someday.
Mike enjoys gardening, writing, traveling, walking and hiking, and spending much time with his grandchildren.
