Dave Gianelli is a Shareholder at Gianelli | Friedman | Jeffries. He has over 35 years of experience in business and estate planning, succession planning for businesses, business formation, business transactions, corporate maintenance, probate and trust administration, and taxation. He is a certified specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate law and has an advanced masters degree (LLM) in taxation. Dave enjoys working with businesses and families and assisting them with the legal issues they face.

David received his Bachelor’s of Arts in economics from the University of California at San Diego in 1982. He received his Juris Doctorate at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1985 and his Masters Degree in Taxation (LLM) in 1986. His honors include the Am Jur Award for Estate Planning and the Student Award for Excellence in Taxation. David has written a number of professional articles on business and estate planning.

David is currently a member of the Modesto Rotary Club, a graduate of the American Leadership Forum, a graduate of Leadership Modesto, a former Chairperson of the Modesto Chamber of Commerce, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County, the Education Foundation of Stanislaus County, the Downtown Modesto Partnership, the Citizens Advisory Committee for the Tuolumne River Regional Park, and a former President of the Stanislaus County Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Organization.

When Dave is not at the office, he can be found playing tennis, hiking, snorkeling, climbing, playing with his grandchild (and hoping that will be grandchildren someday), riding his bike, working in his yard and watching the Giants win.
