Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco The de Young Museum originated as the Fine Arts Building, which was constructed in Golden Gate Park for the California Midwinter International Exposition in 1894. High on the headlands above the Golden Gate—where the Pacific Ocean spills into San Francisco Bay—stands the California Palace of the Legion of Honor, the gift of Alma de Bretteville Spreckels to the city of San Francisco. Located in Lincoln Park, this unique art museum is one of the great treasures in a city that boasts many riches. The museum’s spectacular setting is made even more dramatic by the imposing French neoclassical building.
Gallo Center for the Arts The mission of the Gallo Center for the Arts is to enrich the quality of life in the Central Valley by providing an inspirational civic gathering place where regional, national and international cultural activities illuminate, educate and entertain. The Gallo Center for the Arts will celebrate the diversity of the Central Valley by offering an array of affordable cultural opportunities designed to appeal, and be accessible, to all. The Gallo Center for the Arts will accomplish this mission through programming that: Provides a venue for the area's leading performing arts organizations; Brings great performances from around the world to the area; Offers motivating arts education programs for youth.

Modesto Chamber of Commerce Voting is one of the greatest privileges and also one of the greatest responsibilities we have in this country. It is something that puts us all on equal ground, because it doesn’t matter how much money you make, what you do for a living, your race, or your gender, we all have the opportunity to vote. We believe we are all responsible to be active in positive change, and voting is one way to influence change. Voting gives us a chance to choose the leaders we want running our city, our school districts, our state, and our country.

Modesto Rotary Club Since our founding in 1920, Modesto Rotary Club has been committed to improving the world, on a localand global level. With over 200 members, we are among the largest Rotary clubs in California’s Central Valley. Rotary International is a global organization of business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. In more than 160 countries worldwide, approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 30,000 Rotary clubs. Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women.
Modesto Sunrise Rotary The Rotary Club of Modesto Sunrise was chartered on March 27th 1985. Since its inception it has been very active in community and international projects. We are a group of 100 dedicated professional men and women whose motto is "Service Above Self". Through our various fundraising efforts we have donated in excess of $900,000 to different projects, charities, and groups.
Parent Institute for Quality Education PIQE creates partnerships between parents, students and educators to further students’ academic success. As a result of our work in parent engagement, more than 1.5 million under-served student's educations have been enhanced since our inception in 1987. Public schools value us, parents need us, and students use us as a springboard to their own personal and career success. PIQE’s Modesto regional office opened its doors in 1997. Since then, the Modesto office has successfully graduated almost 28,868 parents from PIQE’s programs, and has served 291 schools in 62 districts.
